Client Facing Technical Engineer

Robert Brown is a Client-Facing Technical Engineer with a 20-year career with Healthcare IT services and enterprise software vendors. As an Implementation Consultant & System Administrator he effectively collaborates on Technical Product engagement teams with internal and customer participants. Robert is experienced with both remote and in-person customer implementations, engagements, and training. His expertise includes virtualization, Oracle & SQL database administration, data mapping, integration, and testing, Windows platform migrations and upgrades, SaaS operations. Robert is a USMC veteran and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Most recently, Robert was a Senior Technical Engineer in Medecision’s Business Services Department. He joined Medecision when the company acquired Axis Point Health, where he was a Senior Technical Implementation Consultant. Robert also held roles with the predecessor organization, McKesson, including Product Support Lead, Senior Technical Analyst, and Senior Product Support Analyst after being originally hired as a Product Support Analyst. During his early career, he held roles at Valley Technical Consulting firm and as a Data Communications Specialist for the USMC.

Robert completed two years of Bachelor’s coursework at Bridgewater State and Paradise Valley Community College. His core competencies include Project Requirements Analysis, Database Analysis and Reporting, Data Interfaces, Technical Product Training, Project Management, and IT Troubleshooting and Support. Robert has a wide array of technology skills that include VMWare Administration, Cloud Computing, Data Transformation and ETL (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS). Robert currently resides in Tempe, AZ and is originally from the Northeast. He owns a ’06 Mustang that he modifies, restores, and races. Robert also enjoys hiking (e.g., South Mountain and Camelback) and competing in long distance runs.
